Manado’s rivers are critical battlefields in the fight against ocean plastic pollution. Every year, these waterways transport tons of waste into the ocean, threatening marine ecosystems and the local livelihoods that depend on them.
Your donation will support our river project, which installs and maintains barriers to stop plastic waste before it reaches the sea. These funds will cover the significant labor required to remove, sort, and process the collected waste, as well as the ongoing maintenance costs of the barriers.
