Prof. Markus Lasut from Sam Ratulangi University (UNSRAT) active in supporting actions to improve and find solutions against pollution joined the initiative from the first moment on. As director of all graduation schools of UNSRAT he is also supporting efforts of Miriam Weber and Christian Lott transferring marine biology and plastic knowledge.
Seasoldier are an Indonesian NGO, set up by Nadine Chandrawinata, former Miss Indonesia. Mobilised by social media, this passionate group is made up of young people who want to make a difference. We worked with their Sulawesi Utara group to deliver our environmental education program.
Coral Eye is our base on Bangka. Originally set up as a marine outpost in 2011 and then a dive resort in 2013; it now hosts tourists, scientists and volunteers alike. The resort provides vital support to NTTI whilst providing us with an operational headquarters.
A sister company of Megamas Group in Manado, that agreed to take care of the Bangka Island beach waste, helping the initiative to reduce transport costs.
Peers is a collaborative group of like-minded people. They combine strategy, design and drive to develop narratives and sustainable brand identities.
